What inspired you to adopt a healthier lifestyle?
“I believe that ultimately I just wanted a better quality of life – to live longer, look younger, and feel more confident about myself.”
Had you tried other things in the past that did or didn’t work for you? What was it about “this time” that helped you stick with it?
“In the past I have tried working out regularly, but I would tend to make excuses. “Oh, I have to do this…” and “I have to do that…” I didn’t really have the motivation. Once I committed myself to weekly coaching goals with Miriam, I felt somewhat obligated to stay on track. I’m a woman of my word and try to do the right thing at all times. Honestly, I didn’t want to tell a story and say I worked out when I really didn’t. My morals kicked in big-time.”
What’s your favorite activity or challenge within the Sonic Boom program?
“My favorite activity had to be the fruit and vegetable challenge. I’m a bit of a junk-food eater, so the fact that I was able to challenge myself and commit to this challenge has really made me proud. I am also very anemic, so this served purpose for 2 areas. The more green veggies I eat, the better my iron levels get. Healthier lifestyle, Healthier me.”
If you’ve experienced weight-loss, how much have you lost and over what period of time?
“Throughout my coaching experience, I have lost about 15 pounds just by eating a little more healthy and exercising daily. I went from 150 to 135lbs, and I absolutely love my new look. I feel more confident and eager to go out. Just recently I went on a cruise with several friends – I threw on my swimsuit with no worries! You’ll be surprised what a little push can do.”
Sonic Boom isn’t only about losing weight, but living an all-around healthier lifestyle. How has yours improved?
“I believe that exercising has actually increased my energy levels tremendously – that with a little bit of eating fruits/vegetables and increasing my iron intake. I feel like a new person. I can go out on weekends without feeling exhausted. I’m able to enjoy myself, stay out later, and just have all around more fun.”
Is there anything you’d like to say to help inspire other Sonic Boomers at CoreLogic? Tips, tricks, or motivation?
“The sporadic change might be hard in the beginning, but I suggest you stick it out the whole way through. It gets easier and you will definitely see the results.”

“All in all, this has been a great experience. Miriam is awesome, easy-going, nice, genuinely concerned, and made me feel very comfortable while talking to her.
